Photo Session FAQ
Where does the photography session take place?
The on-location session takes place either in your home or outdoors. Please review my service map. I will travel to any location within the green circle. Please contact me if you are not sure whether your location is possible.

Why choose an indoor session?
If you choose to have an indoor session, I will bring my portable studio, which includes a solid white or black background and a set of lights, to your home. The benefit of using a solid background is that special emphasis is placed on the people. Another benefit of an indoor session is controlled lighting, which yields beautiful photographs.
Why choose an outdoor session?
An outdoor session takes place at a location of your choice like a beach or park. I am happy to recommend beautiful locations around your area.
How long does the photo session last?
Usually one hour, which includes one or two wardrobe changes. You will get as much time as you need, as I would never rush you.
What should I wear for the session?
Wardrobe is entirely up to you. I recommend to come up with a few wardrobe choices, so that we can select the best option together before the shoot. As a general rule, simple solid colors look best in the photos. You may want to plan for a wardrobe change during the session, so that two different looks are produced in the photos.
How much does the session cost?
Prices vary depending on your specific needs. Please review the Pricing page for package pricing details. If you are looking to develop a modeling portfolio and need headshots, generous discounts are available. Please contact me at (917) 596-1147 or Photocrossing@ymail.com to discuss pricing.*
*All discounted photo sessions will incur a travel cost.
How many pictures will I get from the photo session?
Generally 25+ good images are produced from a one hour photo session. All of my images are carefully retouched so that the photo looks its very best. If you choose the Digital Package, your image files will be provided on a CD within a week after the shoot.
How do I get prints?
If you choose the Digital Package, you may have your digital images printed at your favorite printer. In addition, I offer professional matte prints on regular or metallic paper. Prints are coated with eco-friendly Lustre Coating for visual enhancement and superior protection. Please review the Pricing page for print pricing.

Hi Julie,
I’m going to be proposing to my girlfriend in a few weeks and I wanted to surprise her and get some shots of the event as it unfolded. Do you have a price list or a package for such an event?
